Welcome to our new website!

BowMel Motors (the original name) has been in the Blumel family since 1972, when George Blumel and his partner Hugh Bowman began the business as a Volkswagen/International Harvester/Vanguard Camper dealership.  In 1976 IHC had fallen by the wayside and American Motors/Jeep was added. 
In 1988 it was decided to deal with Chrysler only and BowMel Chrysler Ltd. was born.  In 1995 the business was taken over by George's son, Todd, who is now the sole dealer principal. 
The BowMel name has been a respected and trusted business in the Cowichan Valley for more than 3 decades.

Our beautiful new building was completed in the summer of 2007.  We are now more able to meet the needs of our customers from Victoria to the south, all the way to Campbell River in the north.  We have a large customer base that serves Duncan, Chemainus, Lake Cowichan, Salt Spring Island, Ladysmith, Nanaimo, Parksville, Qualicum and Courtenay.
We are proud of having customers and friends from all over Vancouver Island.
